SHARMON GREEN

Inspired by her mother who enjoyed art and loved to paint in oils, Sharmon started painting seriously at the age of 14. Her love for the arts was further kindled by her high school art teacher well known for his watercolors and oil paintings.

After graduating from New Mexico State University with a degree in Art Education, Sharmon taught art on the Navajo Reservation near Crownpoint,

New Mexico .  Now retired after 27 years in Colorado's Cherry Creek School District, she  spends much of her time in her home studio painting landscapes, vintage autos and scenes of the west that she remembers and enjoys.

COMMISSIONS ACCEPTED:  Sharmon would love to paint for you.  Most any subject will be considered.  Please feel free to contact her with your ideas for commission work as well as additional information regarding fees, timeline, etc.
